We are looking for those who have previous experience of customer support in hosting. You will work for the first/second line support in the web hosting team.
As a person, you are committed, open-minded, customer-oriented and responsible. You like problem-solving and keeping up to date on the latest news in the IT world. We expect you to have strong troubleshooting and written English skills (Intermediate & above).
- Provide technical support on the services offered (hosting, network, domain names, SSL certificates and other services);
- Ensure we provide excellent customer service through e-mail and tickets in a timely and accurate manner;
- Analyze customer complaints and feedback to suggest and apply appropriate solutions;
- Escalation point for First-line support;
- Maintaining client data and configurations within SLAs;
- Advanced understanding of LAMP/LEMP (tuning of Apache/Nginx, SQL queries, PHP handlers, PHP-FPM in particular);
- Advanced hosting and contentsite troubleshooting skills;
- Troubleshooting (Linux / Windows servers, VMware, networking, WordPress, SSL and others);
- Scripting skills (Bash preferred);
- Other responsibilities include participating in audits and internal projects such as documentation and reporting tasks;
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of customer support experience
- Understanding of networking
- Experience with different Linux distros (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
- Experience with domain names, hosting, and SSL support
- Deep knowledge of DNS principles
- Advanced SSL knowledge
- WordPress troubleshooting, WP CLI
- LAMP/LEMP knowledge (tuning of Apache/Nginx, SQL queries, PHP handlers, PHP-FPM in particular)
- Bash scripting (Advanced)
- Proficiency in websites migrations between servers/providers
- Experience working with VMware technologies
- Knowledge of Registry, and Registrar
